It’s not a question of love, it’s a matter of trust. They are young, and probably not the hand that fed as babies. Just keep working with them until they find out you are not going to hurt them. Try to feed their favorite treat from the hand. One other thing. I suppose you keep both birds in the same cage. If you do, sometimes they are connected with each other, and close to humans. Keep trying to win them, but keep in mind that you may have to separate them at a certain time. Good luck!

Love birds are very very picky creatures. They take much time and energy to love them you. They have probably connected with each other and want nothing to do with you.Love birds tend that.Well do this all the birds for that matter, but love the Birds in particular.I’m not saying that they never love you I’m just saying they are more difficult than most to make a pet out all together if you have two.

It will take time for your lovebirds to be friendly. They are young and have only lovebird companion, you are quite large and perhaps frightening to them. Be patient. Try to wear a glove on his hand so their bite will not hurt you and bring them one at a time, until they have no fear. Hold 1 and gently stroke her head or scratching their bellies or under their wings. Then change the bird into the cage to the other.
