My pair love birds, the Dutch Blue Peach face and my babies are bright yellow to begin with that seems to color white and then gray. I’m not a serious breeder so someone might be a better answer, but I think that’s normal. As far as boys and girls can not find them my best guess is to say, if they get a few months old, the females seem to be larger than the males. DNA testing is the only sure way to know. I know in the pelvic area to feel my birds and was able to successfully choose a husband for my wife that way, but they must work at least 5-6 months too old for this. The pelvic bones are dense and close together on men and women further apart. You can do this on your best pair to see what I’m talking about. Good luck with your new baby .. I have one that feed from the nest for hand today … so sweet!

I DONT know maybe because the parents would be mixed gray feathers and I think the other might be lucky
No, it is not the difference between the sexes. Lovebirds are not dimorphic, and there is no way to tell the difference between male and female lovebirds to tell visually. The only accurate way to determine sex is to have different DNA Tests.Die chick down, because they are different color-color mutations.
That’s only color mutations-the only way to ensure 100% of your bird’s gender to have DNA tests performed.
The parents of your your present pair are to be distributed both to the different colors, and these were passed on to your new chick, as for sex determination, it is because you know the parents, parents, even going back 3-4 generations you will not be be able to visually sex sie.Es are types of love birds, which can be visually sexed, this Abyssinian Lovebirds and Madagascar Lovebird.Als ex-breeders are a number of species of Lovebirds over 40 years, unless you know your birds genetic line, then it will be DNA testing.
