Would Love Birds lay eggs without a nesting box
Here is my problem. I rescued a couple lovebrids about a month ago. Last week I noticed that she was the pairing, I walk and since they were in their cage, doing the deed. Well, I thought it was that one time, there has been continued a few times. I am arranging a larger cage for them and a nesting box. I want to know how soon after mating, they do lay eggs, and they will do it without a box Best Answer:

, since they already mating, before the larger cage, it has to adapt to the new cage in about 2-3 days and after few days of conditioning, they are Return to mate.

my friend has lovebirds and one of them has been laying eggs recently. they were, whether they have a box or not, but if you think that they lay an egg, as you should put a nest box b / c they are not to be touched as their eggs.
I had several love birds over the years, and you would at school, we leave out of the cage for a while every day, and she went directly to the newspaper, shredded it, the rag stuck under her wing, and barreled into the kitchen cutlery drawer (which was open) and built a nest like a bald eagle eggs and all. Sun nesting box is not required. Paper and fabric to make a nest, a duty.
Now, after mating, its prolly a few weeek after that date that they lay eggs. But my advice to you is your nest boxes work better because I had a pair Lovies and I had babies on the cage floor. The thing is that I am a soft but strong material at the bottom of the nest taken ……. and fight two weeks later, they had little peeps. So if you want to breed them without the nest box just remember to put a soft surface for the mother, love, and twigs and bird nesting material. If you want to be just a chick hatch from an egg and experienced the miracle of new life beginning ….. Good luck with ur Lovies!
