cats do not like citrus smells … You can buy a citrus spray from the pet store that you spray on something that you do not want the cat to her for certain plants.

Cats smell like anything citrus. Change your vacuum cleaner smell one at a lemon, perhaps, or leave a cut lemon nearby.
