What use to keep cats out of the Christmas tree, my tree is looking terriabe. I wonder if I can do something for them to stop it Best Answer.

do theres not much use other than water! what I was doing, it was up without embellishments for a few days so he would get used to it, then after he got bored i put on the ornaments. If he does not go near it or start playing I only use the water bottle, sometimes works. Cats are attracted to Christmas trees because of the lights, the lights make a constant hum that only certain animals can hear, this can make them play, or “attack” your tree. If they chew on the cords, use a bar of soap (Dial, Dove, etc) and rub it on the cable when they work they make bitter chewing spray for animals does not. Good Luck!

Most cats do not like the smell of pepper. Use Sprinkle a little pepper and Chille on the bottom of Baumes.Das works well for plants.
I take a spray bottle filled with water and every time they gehenin near the tree they do not get wet. They do not like that at all. It’s really hard to do when your not home, you just hope as heckSie still have a tree. I know, I struggle every day dieBaum. Good Luck!
