I have a 10-month-old Cocker Spaniel. He is very affectionate, but I did not listen to my husband!?
I have a 10-month old male Cocker Spaniel 2 days ago and he is not from my side. He has snapped at my husband when he tried to take the ball to get out of his mouth while playing. Is it normal to be for a cocker, so affectionate, especially with women? He seems to love women, but not hear, or warm up to men. Can I do anything to him to heat up my man?

haha, same with my dog. It’s always about women, especially my mother, but does not seem to like our father! She is a Cocker Spaniel, too, and we had one before her in that act the same. I am not quite sure why. I think its because my mother treated our dog like a baby. She cuddles it and stuff. My father thinks its crazy, he says shes just a dog, not human. Maybe try your man they cuddle her more, he may not want, but im guessing your dog feel more in him.
