How Do I keep a pesky dog away from my dogs while they are in their kennel?
This dog has been terrorizing us and our dogs since we have moved in. Our neighbors don’t seem to mind! Our dogs are in a kennel so they aren’t being hurt by this dog they are hurting themselves. They get so worked up and if they bump into one another they start fighting. Is there anything i can do to stop this from happening? Legally or otherwise?
Contact the authorities. . . that’s the only legal thing you can do.
If the other dog is roaming free and on your property, yes. You can call animal control and have them pick the dog up.
If it’s within it’s own backyard, adjacent to yours, then not really.

Are your dogs OUTSIDE in a kennel??? If your dogs are hurting themselves outside, then they need to be brought inside.
If you are going to continue to insist to leave your poor dogs outside, then call animal control and have them come get the roaming dogs – assuming you have leash laws.

1Step OnePlace one gallon plastic milk jugs filled with water around the perimeter of your property. This folk remedy works more often than not.
2Step TwoStop using fish emulsion fertilizer, bone meal and blood meal. Dogs, cats, raccoons and skunks are attracted by the scent of these organic products. If you use them in your yard, cover the scent with a bitter apple spray like that sold at pet stores.
3Step ThreeSpread ground hot chile peppers over newly planted beds to prevent dogs and cats from digging. The capsicum (the chemical in the pepper that makes it hot) will deter most creatures from digging.
4Step FourProtect fragile individual plants by placing wire mesh around them.
Tips & Warnings
The seeds from ground chile peppers may germinate into little pepper plants. If this happens, pull them out and toss them into your compost pile.
Build a stout fence around your property to exclude dogs, as a last resort.
You say your neighbors don’t seem to mind. . . have you tried talking to them rationally?
Can the dogs see eachother (ie, chainlink?) If so try putting boards up so all they can do is hear/smell eachother. . . might calm them down a notch.
Last resort. . . bring them inside when your neighbors dogs are out and then when they take their dogs inside let your out. . .
first of all are your dogs outside? they shouldn’t be outside in a kennel.
second thing is, you have to tell your neighbors straight up stop your dog or i’m calling animal control. then wait just a little bit like a day or so and if the dog does it again, call animal control. then your neighbors can’t be mad at you because you warned them.
well, if they are off leash and on your property you can contact the animal control in your area and file a complaint.
