    go to liveaquaria. com
    look under fresh water fish
Research under beginner fish to find the one that’s right for you
simply use the section marked refine your search to find your tank size etc.
by using a 10 gallon tank and 2 inch max size i came up with 8 results
then click on the picture of a fish you might like and learn about it’s care etc.
even though i have been raising fish for over 30 years i still use this site often

I would recommend some guppies or white skirt tetra’s

Dwarf gourmies are great! I accidentally left mine in a very cold ammonia high water for a week and it lived. Its still alive today but in much better conditions. They are some of the hardiest fish I ever had.

Pretty much anything you will find at your local commercial pet store dude, such as Wal-Mart or Petsmart. Those are all beginner fish at those places. They only have the fish that are pretty safe to sell to beginner guys to keep their rep on the safe side.

white cloud minnows, danios, guppies, corydoras (3 or more though)
