Can I use a flea collar on my cat after the use of other flea treatments?

I used Zodiac Flea & Tick Shampoo and uses only the Zodiac Carpet and Upholstery powder and flea collars label says “please do not use prod simultaneously or within 30 days of treatment / exposure to inhibiting drugs, pesticides, cholinesterase .. But is very indirect and confusing?

Hi Stacy. . . many over the counter flea products (especially flea collars) are very harmful to cats, including Zodiac. No, you are not a flea collar for your cat if you have used other flea products recently.

Do you love your cat, or a death wish for that? Think of a flea “treatment” as a really strong dose of poison. Never double dose your pet, and if you pet is injured is not visible from your confusion (ie twice the dosage). You can be sure he is suffering internally. What do you think! Always err on the side of caution and poison pets (or children) are affected.

Follow the instructions on the label. You can expose your cat by poison him / her too much anti-flea chemicals.

I am not going to lie, you’ve lost me here. I know that you meant well and you definitely know what you are talking about, but I cant say that I get where youre coming from. In the event you want people to understand your ideas, you need to take into consideration the other side of the discussion, too. Youve got a wealth of knowledge, I’m sure. But, really frankly, you turned me off with your tone.
