My mother calls me, as I have a hunch. You can use a lower dose of dog flea drops to cats? Both are adults. The dog weighs about 8 pounds. He is not much bigger than the cat. Any help would be great Best Answer.

I know that many of the droplets, which are sold in veterinarians offices are generic can use in terms of what kind of animal they are, but a veterinarian (or even the receptionist at the vet’s office) would know whether the specific type of drops you have is safe for cats, and how much of a dose to give them.
