I agree with Gabriel. www. lllreptile. com. I bought a ball python from about five weeks. It is great. I took her to the vet about a week after I got it and the vet said she was a little thin, but looked great overall. She did not eat right after I came to her, but that was expected. I am not feeding her any problems / f t mice (she was sick of lllreptile in living mice). They are also very happy about answering questions about the snake (I emailed them several times and they were very fast response to my e-mail).
LLLREPTILE mostly sells wild caught reptiles – end of story

Just an FYI for you since you are just guessing with your response – over 2/3 of the animals we carry are absolutely 100% USA Captive Bred. We promote captive bred wherever we can, whenever possible. Now – if it is a Mangrove Snake or a Nigerian Uromastyx – no doubt, it is wild caught most of the time. Almost nobody breeds them, or even tries. There are lots of great imported animals that are just not widely produced in the US… yet. As the industry advances, more and more people take on these awesome, amazing animals, which is why we see so many more captive bred animals versus a decade ago.
EVERY SINGLE ball python we have in stock right now is captive bred (our current baby stock was produced by Garrick Demeyer, a very, very well respected breeder). When you make a blanket statement like that with absolutely no knowledge of our business – you really need to do you research or simply take a look at our website to see everything listed as “CB” and quickly figure out how much stuff we carry that is captive bred. I know you don’t mean any harm by your statement, and you just didn’t know, but it does harm with mis-information. Simply put, we carry mostly captive bred, from some of the best breeders this country has to offer. Connections we have made over the many, many years we have done business. If you EVER have a question on something specific, simply call us toll free at 888-54-Reptile and ask. Our staff is extremely well educated in the reptile industry, and can answer most any question you might have.
Hope that info helps, and thanks Tam and Gabriel for your referrals – we always appreciate it, and hope we can provide the best service around!
