Bark is also good. You have to be careful with them, because they hold moisture, they grow bacteria and fungi were very careful to stay away from leicht.Ich cedar mulch. Cedar oils are toxic and can lead to fatal respiratory infections. Plant / wood based mulch that are safe to use: Aspen, Pine, Long Grain Sphagum Moss and Cypress.Die coconut dirt is good, tho.
Never cedar
I Repti-bark forest usr for all my Schlangen.1 Jungle Carpet Pythons Ball python2 they all love IT.
Substrate: It has been our experience and observation that pythons do very well on either aspen bedding or on newspaper. Both are easy to maintain at a satisfactory level of hygiene. Ball pythons can be successfully applied to a variety of substrates, including cypress bark chips and carpet will be held, although some more care is required to ensure an adequate level of cleanliness and smell of these substrates to erhalten.i my experience that the substrate contain too much moisture and Mites cause molds and if you lucky they get rid of this use. Plus, if the snake goes to the bathroom you’ll have to remove most of the coconut substrate to it because it is so good obsorb. If I had my ball python, I went with cypress or newspaper to clean so much easier
Use AstroTurf. It is very easy to clean, so you can use it again! Good luck you will find some substrate for ball python!
which makes it more realistic repibark habitat and ball pythons are not used to humidity, because they come from Africa
