What will happen if a person pepper sprayed a poisonous snake, trying to attack?

Would they come down @ u more or would they back? I’m deathly afraid of snakes. I was attacked by a non-venomous pet snake. & I heard that my twin sister has seen a lot of green snakes in her neighborhood and one was right by her door step.

It does not work on snakes.

I’d see a psychologist if I were you. It’s your problem, not the poor snake’s.

First, ask the snake to wait so you can get the spray out of your pocket and flip the safety catch. Then ask it to hold still for a moment to let you aim. The point being, snake attack is way too fast for you to react, let alone spray it.

haha, I’ve been bit by garter snakes and bull snakes, fun let me tell you, it never gets! I got so pissed off at the last garter that bit me that I bashed it’s head in with a hammer then strung it from a tree! Best defense against snakes are blunt objects and / or shotguns.

If a snake attacked you. . . . . . then your pepper spray might piss it off to you twice biting. You can not stop it, unless you do not walk on top of a poison snake to start with. I am scared of them, like you are, yet I live in the desert where rattle snakes are common, but I have not seen one. People displace snakes more than they should be afriad of them for. . . . . . .

Keep your distance, and keep ice handy. From a safe distance throw a cup of ice towards it. It will go the other direction.

Snakes DO NOT ATTACK people! A snake, like any other animal, including cutesy furry ones like rabbits, will bite in self-defense if it feels threatened, or, in a captive situation, if it is in feeding mode and sees sudden movement that would Indicate prey. I’ve caught snakes and kept for much longer than you’ve been alive, probably longer than your parents have been alive, and I have never, never, ever, ever had a snake come after me. Wild snakes will either just sit still, hoping you will not notice them, or they’ll flee. If a pet snake is very hungry, it will bite because its brain is telling it that anything that moves might be a meal. Green snakes, by the way, are totally harmless, and could not hurt even if they did bite, and anyone who’d be afraid of a green snake has some serious psychological disorder going on and needs professional help, FAST! Seriously, anyone who’d actually consider carrying pepper spray because they are so phobic of being “attacked” by a snake needs professional help, and I’m not trying to be mean or sarcastic. You have a phobia if your fear has gotten to that point that it’s controlling YOU instead of the other way around, and a phobia is a recognized mental illness, Which can be as serious as Bi-Polar Disoroder. Get help, and I do not mean with pepper spray.

Green snakes were you are are more than likely not poisionous. I would be more concerned about venomous spiders than snakes. At least I can see or hear the snake when it’s pissed off. . not so much a spider. But anywho. . . you’d have better luck throwing a bottle of Jack Danial at it lol! But do not hit the snake.
